Aftermarket aluminum charge tube

I ended up buying a new aluminum charge tube to replace the cheap stock one on my 2017 xp4T. I installed, and went for a ride it immediately threw a misfire code and started backfiring like crazy it would not run over 6000rpm without backfiring and throwing a code. I changed the bov to a bmp Billet thinking that may be the problem, it didn’t help. I called mike at aftermarket assassins because I have his clutch and stage 2,3 tune thinking that may be the problem, he suggested I check the plug wires where they go over the tube, and see if the are shorting out. I added a piece of rubber under them and this cured the issue, after hours of trouble shooting, and frustration it was such a simple fix.
