XPT4 2 Year review & setup details

It's been just over two years and 14xx miles since the XPT4 was new. I just got back from a trip to Windrock this past weekend and I can honestly say the machine absolutely work flawlessly. I'm sure some of you have read about the various modifications over the years. It has been an evolution and I've tried to improve upon the great platform of the XPT4. At this point I really could not ask it to do anything better than what it does now. It's a beast in the rocks, crawling flawlessly without spinning a tire to high speed trail riding with ease. The suspension floats over the rough stuff at any speed and really work well. The steering is effortless and corners very well for a fairly large rig. It's very comfortable at high speeds through the trails. In it's current iteration I can honestly say I have never had a machine that handles this well at low or high speed and felt so much in control in every situation. This has turned out to be a true all weather rig to wheel the hardest trails and do it in comfort.

The upgrades I've done were systematic with a specific purpose in mind and everything works well together. Below is a basic list of the mechanical aspects. Creature comforts and other stuff would make the list way too long.

Suspension Setup:

Shock Therapy Level 4 with RIS for Fox shocks.
Zbroz +2" HC Front arms
Keller Ball Joints
Special Carrier Mfg HD Trailing arms
NRP Billet HC radius rods
Sandcraft limit straps

Stock front/rear sway bars
Walker Evans Links on all 4 corners
Flex Rock rear sway bar bushings & billet mounts
Super ATV sways bar / frame bracket

Steering:
Stock rack w/ Sandcraft Steering stabilizer
Sandcraft front frame plate
Sandcraft billet tie-rods
Saturn Vue electric power steering

Drivetrain:
'18 XPT4 trans with 57% low reduction, 13% High & Reverse reduction
SKF trans bearings
SATV Rhino 2.0 axles front/rear
SATV Hill killer driveshaft
Sandcaft carrier bearing
Gear Grabber Shifter
Stock front diff (DC Motorsports diff on the shelf IF I break the stock one)

Engine:
Power Vision CX
AA Stage 1-3 tunes
Trinity stage 5 full exhaust
RKX BOV
Silicon intake / charge tubes
ProVent 200 oil/separator catch can
SLP XPT High Load Clutch

Wheels & Tires:
35x10.5x14" Maxxis Roxxzillas
KMC XS235 Grenade 6/1 14" beadlock rims
1-1/2" billet wheel spacers

The only thing I've broken was the transmission and that was 100% my fault for trying to act like a rock bouncer. With a little throttle control and maintenance these machines can be very reliable and very capable of hard core wheeling. So overall after two years wheeling everything from Moab to the east coast I can say I am truly impressed, the XPT4 is one badass machine. For me and my style riding I don't think I could ask it to do anything better.
