New member and first time ATV owner

I just purchased my first RZR and actually my first motorized vehicle other than a car or boat.
I bought the 2019 XP Turbo 4.
Seems like a great machine and very much looking forward to it.
My question is: I just plunked down $29,000 and change after adding a bunch of accessories. ie: roof, windshield, winch, storage box etc.
After reading through this forum it seems like everyone is taking them apart and adding new roll cages, tires and wheels, shocks, skid plates, new seats and on and on.
Is the stock version not really adequate?
I don't plan on racing or anything. Just fun in the mountains of Colorado, Utah and Arizona.
Do I need to put another 5K into it or is it just like a typical hobby where you keep sinking money into something because you can?
(I know the drill as I'm a professional photographer and I can't stop buying more lenses and camera bodies)
