Been researching extra fuel carrying options. IMS makes a 5 gallon auxillary tank that mounts where the battery goes, and they have a battery relocation kit that mounts the battery in the engine compartment. The only issue with that is on the turbos, the turbo and turbo plumbing do not leave enough room for the relocated battery. So, the only option, per IMS, is to buy the kit without the relocation kit and fab something else up, although they have no suggestions for where that would be. I believe this would apply to all turbos, regardless of S or not, and regardless if it's a 2 or 4 seater.
I can't find anything out there on the web for alternative locations. Anyone know or heard of anything? To me, it's a better, safer solution. Saves room, and you're not putting jugs in the cargo area above the motor. Gas above the motor could lead to trouble. And gas on the outside of the rollbar could be squashed on tipover.
