Rev Limit in Low Gear

I have a ‘19 turbo 4 seater and in low gear my rev limiter kicks in right at 6k rpm. My dad has a ‘19 turbo 2 seater and his revs all the way up to 8k-ish and he can easily do 40-45 in low whereas I can do about 35 in low. Just wondering if the an issue with mine or if you guys experience the same situation.
