2016+ transmission differences

I’ve been looking at different turbo transmissions on the microfiche putting pricing together for a possible swap into my 1K.

I know that 2016 and 2017 XPT4’s both have the good low gearing from the factory.

2016 XPT4 transmission part#1333610 is $2,433.19

2017 XPT4 has 2 choices. Part# 1333610 at $2433.19 and part# 1333744 at $2,815.99

- Anyone know why there’s a $400 difference?

- Is there any reason at all to not buy the cheaper 1333610 transmission?

- Are any year clutches better than others? And will the primary and secondary clutches from 2016-2019 swap?

Just wondering if I buy a 2016 transmission do I have to buy 2016 clutches.
