So I recently bought a new XP 4 turbo and the first trip out I had it in the rocks playing around. I quickly found that the factory skid wasn't going to cut it so I bought a UTV INC skid. It just showed up today and I didn't realize until now that you have to use self tapping screws into the frame to install all the extra hardware. I am a little leery of drilling that many holes in the frame and weakening the structural integrity of it. Especially since I come from a rock crawling back round and plan to have it bouncing off rocks a lot.
Has anyone had any issues from drilling holes I their frame?
Any alternate methods to attach like a clamp of some sort?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated as I don't want to break my brand new machine in half cause I drilled some holes in the frame!
