Considering buying an 2018 XPT4, should I wait for 19?

Still running hot after Weller kit.
Any ideas? So there is this long hard hill up in the smith valley, Nevada area we always run up. When its 90 degrees or hotter my rzr would limp 2 times up the hill. I bought a Weller Oil kit and ran up it again today. I made it all the way up, but at the top I still saw 228 degrees. Am I just expecting too much out of this oil kit or do I have another problem Im overlooking?
Here is what my rzr looks like. I know Ive added weight and bigger tires, but I would think it should not have made such a drastic difference.

XPT4 Gearing Differences, 2017 vs 2018-19
I have been looking into re-gearing my 18 XPT4 and have put together the differences I found. The owners manuals show the 17-19 all have the same gearing in low. I found this is not the case as the 18-19 have about a 30% taller low gear than the 17. I thought I would share the difference in part numbers and gearing I have found while looking over the parts diagrams. I am not really sure why Polaris hasn't updated the owners manuals to reflect the changes. Hopefully someone other than me will also find this information useful.

Suspension set up
So I have a 17 xp4 turbo and have not upgraded my springs and prob wont for a bit bc of warranty. Not sure if it affects it. Anyways was looking for some input on setting preload and everything. I ride mostly dunes and back roads. At the dunes with 4 adults I was getting a lot of back bounce where the rear end was kicking over whoops and dips. And I have the Fox shocks not walker Evans. And I know it wont handle like a long travel but was wondering if I could get some help with adjustment. Thank you.

XPT4 Rear Inner CV...???
Can anyone tell me what the difference is year to year on the rear inner CV between 2016 thru 2018.

noise after installing larger tires
just installed 32" terrabites all the way around. im now noticing popping coming from the rear and front when im turning. Im thinking i need to upgrade radius rods rear and maybe balljoint in the front. anybody have thought what else it could be?

Still havnt fixed the front diff noise.
I purchased a new 2018 RZR4T about a month ago. Took it off the trailer and went for a ride. I got to about 30mph and the unbelievable growling noise started from the front end. I actually stopped the vehicle and crawled underneath because I thought something was left loose from the factory.
I called the dealer the next morning and was advised that it is a pretty normal noise. I have since searched forums etc to find out that this has been a problem since 2014 or earlier. It is now at the dealer for the second time and I am not getting the feeling that Polaris will do anything. Any suggestions on my next step to get this taken care of ?
This very frustrating and would appreciate any input on how I could resolve this issue.Thanks

Install super atv 4500 behind radiator.![]()
Ordered all the dash switches for accessories. Trying to find billet dash plates.
Just picked up some new 32 Tires
Just picked up MSA 31 rims.![]()
Getting custom cage built.
Getting front and rear bumpers built.
Ordered TMW Doors and Bags
Going with Rigid storage boxes and Walmart cooler.
Girlfriend wants whips and rock lights.
More to come.

Rockford Fosgate or SSV works Sub enclosure
I have a 2018 RZR XP4 and have Rockford 8" wakeboard speakers and 6.5 marine grade mids in SSV pods. I'm looking to add a sub to the system, I have a 10" Rockford Fosgate sub. I'm debating between the Rockford Fosgate and the SSV enclosure. Since I have the Rockford Fosgate sub Im wondering if the RF enclosure will be my best option. I'm concerned with the Rockford Fosgate enclosure having the sub facing towards the front, away from the riders. Any suggestions?

Dragonfire racing advanced spring kit
Does anyone have any experience with this spring setup? The price is definitely right if it works good. It looks basically the same as the Rtpro and shock therapy stage 4 spring setup.

Suspension
Looking for some help and I searched but couldnt find exactly what I was looking for. So I Have a 17 xp4 turbo. First thing what are the reference point to measure ride height front and back. I searched and found front is the rear a arm point. Also I have the fox internal bypass shocks. Trying to get adjusted. I ride dunes a lot and usually have 4 people. 2 adults and 2 kids or sometimes 4 adults. Was looking for ride height. I know they say front 1/2 inch higher. Looking for less buck in rear and be able to take some good size dips. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2018 XPT4 Low Gear is too tall
I recently purchased a 2018 XPT4 and for the life of me I cant understand why Polaris screwed with the the low gear and made it 33% taller. If you do any type of crawling and climbing you are going to smoke belts. If I would have been aware of the gear change I would have purchased a different machine. Has anybody changed their low gearing yet and if so what was your approx cost and did you do it yourself or have a shop do it?

No power when turning key
I went to start my car yesterday to get pm done for Glamis. Turned key, engine bumped then lost all power. Nothing when I turn the key. Volts are 12.7 on both batteries. Front and rear fuse boxes all read 12.7. What am I missing. I should add that I had a similar problem in pismo a couple months ago. Changed the starter relay and all was good. Please advise. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Bolts backing out behind primary clutch???
I have been having an issue with the bolts backing out from behind my primary clutch and hitting the back of the clutch. I have tried locktite and now over the weekend they broke off in the engine block. I am having a machine shop pull the broken ones out but I need some input on if anyone has had this problem and what was the fix? Any help would be great. Cheers.

First trip and the family is pissed. Overheats
So Im sitting here at Lil Sahara, Utah. Fing thing overheats in 5 min radiator is cold eng is sizzling. Blew a belt first trip out 2 weeks ago. Wife is pissed daughter is pissed and Im pissed. Anyone got any god advice? Im a 33 year master auto tech so My HOP is thermostat stuck closed or water pump impeller shite. How does the cooling system work and what should I attack first? I can shoot the pos or ? FFS I wish I would have just built a mini rail myself I have all the equipment to do it. DAMMIT im so angry to sit here in this fng trailer

Smell me some belt cookin
My XP4 turbo has 400 miles on it. I do allot of higher speed running (50plus) and every time I lean into the throttle, I get a burnt belt smell. I havnt had the cover off yet. Are there bely issues out there ? Should I be looking at different brlt brand ?
