2018 Fox edition or Walker?
Just wondering what opinions people had on buying the Fox edition verses the standard and having the Walker shocks revalved and sprung. Is it worth the 3k? Do you still feel the need to revalved the Fox shocks?

Bumper light bar
Anyone else running a Ridgid 10" bar on the bumper? After having it out once I'm somewhat concerned my temps are going to run higher due to the restricted air flow.
My temps certainly seemed higher, but not sure if that was just due to the slow trail riding due to my son being with me.![]()

Economy paddles
I know another paddle thread but I just would like to to have you guys rank the cheaper tires, tires like CST Sandblast which I think may be the # 1 economy tire, Pro Armor, Sand Stripper, Sedona Dunatik, Quad Boss and whatever else is out there, for stock XPT thanks

tent recommendations
Just like the title says. After years of refusing to sleep in a tent, spent 20 yrs in the military and lived in tents for months at a time, I'm giving in. So i need a recommendation on a tent. looking at a 4 or 6 person. its just me and the wife, but may take dogs occasionally too and would need room for them, two 50 pounders. I'd also like to be able to put a queen or full air mattress in it. I have a 6x12 trailer and might be nice to be able to set it up on the floor of the trailer. Don't want to break the bank, but don't want one that will wear out after a couple uses either. Sturdy in wind and rain are a must. I have stores locally, walmart, academy, dicks, bass pro, cabellas but have plenty of time to order on line too. Thanks

Sand tire wheels
I need some help with figuring out what wheel offset to go with on my sand tires. I read the shock therapy thread about adding offset to the front creating bump stear ect. I was told the sand is different than the desert.
I'm looking at dwt sectors. 14x7 4+4 front and 14x8 5x5 rear. I was told staggered offset was best. Stock suspension xpt4. 30x13 skats front and rear. Thank you for your help.

Oil check
Hey guys I'm new here and to the rzr world. Did my first oil change on my 17 turbo 4 seater. Now the Manual says to check cold and then states to start for 30 seconds and sit for 2 mins then check well when I do it that way it shows right below the top hole now if I check it say it sat for a day or 2 and check cold it is above the top hole maybe half inch or less. Not sure what to go by and if anyone else what they have on there's or experienced. Thanks in advance guys!

2017 rzr4 turbo hold over??
Anyone know of a dealer that has any hold overs from 2017? Seen guys in Cali getting them for about $21,300 before taxes and fees. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Aftermarket Assassins PVCX
Anyone out there flash their stock ECU with an AA tune using the pvcx, then reflash to stock for dealer warranty or recall?
Looking for someone with first hand experience to confirm the dealer was unaware the ECU had been tampered with once your stock tune is flashed back onto the ECU.
Any input is appreciated

Rattling up front
I don't really get to ride it much but I noticed a bad rattling up front haven't been able to figure it out so I thought I'd ask to get some input on what to look at
But it's sounds almost like a belt slips or something rattling but not sure if there's a belt up front maybe I'm better off taking it to a shop but don't have time for that either and not sure if they'd charge me I feel like you drop that amount of money on something it shouldn't sound like a piece of shit after a few months I've literally only taken it out 11 times for maybe 3 hours tops on some rides and I really baby it so not sure why it sounds like this thanks guys for any info

Please tell me it can be cover by warranty
I finally got to take it out this month and let it run for a bit before riding and hopped in rev it up notice a loud sound tried again really loud took it slow for a mile about 15mph then took off then it started acting like it was governing out at 50mph this is my first rzr so not sure what it was pulled over to be safe and smells like burnt rubber by the belt case and I barely take this thing out this was my 12th ride and I don't rip around too much try to baby it so far I've just been running into problems wish I could've rented one instead but sorry for the long story but it's after hours and just wanted to know if a belt is cover by warranty thanks for reading and any info is much appreciated

My 2018 Rzr XP4 Turbo Fox Edition
A big thank you to all the forum members here for posting so much information about these machines. I have been reading the forums for over a year now, trying to learn as much as I could before taking the plunge. Yesterday I picked up my brand new 2018 RZR XP4 Turbo Fox Edition from Duff Shelley in American Fork, UT. I sold my 2014 Teryx 4 last month after 3000 super fun miles. I can't wait to start ripping up the trails and rocks in my new machine. I already picked up a roof from UTVZilla, a Tusk skid plate with trailing arm guards, and a Tusk street legal kit. I plan on getting a lot more stuff after the initial turbo sticker shock wears off!
Again, thanks to everyone who shares their wealth of knowledge and experience on these boards. :nerd I will post more pics of my build as it progresses.

2017 VS. 2018 RZR 4 1000T
It seems like dealers aren't discounting the 2017's for much since you can buy a new 2018 turbo for close to the same price. Would you try to pick up a 2017 because of the Fox shocks for just go with a 2018 with Walkers? I don't know what else changed from the prior years except for the speedo.

I'm debating on upgrading to the 17' model XPT4, but would like to know if I'd be able to utilize my Evo BOV, charge tube, intake boot, captains full exhaust, PRP rear bench seat etc on the 17'?

Stopping rattle in the roof
I picked up the stock roof for my XP4. Has anyone done a DIY project on making it quieter? I was thinking trying weather stripping or something along the roll bars.

My 2017 XPT 4 Melt down.
Picked up our XPT 4 on June 3rd.. Went for a ride this weekend and when we got home and were cleaning it up we noticed that the air filter housing and the air filter got so hot they are melted and warped. The machine only has 18.3 hrs on it. I thought they got this issue fixed? Has anyone seen this still happening? I am concerned that we may have sucked in dust into the engine.

XPT Loose Parts
I'm starting this thread for all to track all the loose parts they've found on their new Turbos. Hopefully this may prevent someone from expensive repairs.

2017 Turbo, loose main bolt on the secondary came out and cut a hole through the clutch cover, warranty covered it, could have been so much worse.
When doing the repair I removed cleaned and inspection the clutches, found those three bolts behind the primary only hand tight, lucky again thanks to the forum.

XTC Auxiliary relays/fuse block
New to the RZR world and trying to do the electrical correctly from the start. I'm looking into the XTC-PCS-64 which has 6 auxiliary switch capability, but my stock 17 dash only has room for 4 additional switches. I see they also make a 4 relay model, but dont' want to cut myself short. What's your opinions on the XTC product? Any ideas for a dash kit to add two more switch cut outs? Any info is greatly appreciated.
