After riding the rzr for the first time today. I was looking it over and saw this piece in the exhaust. Now I'm wondering what it is, can someone help me. I know absolutely nothing about these machines, other than this thing is a blast to drive. Thanks

A-arms and shocks
I am going to go ahead and beat a dead horse here. I have been searching for the last two weeks trying to figure out whats the best a arms and best shock work will be.
I have been looking at special carriers, ORB, super ATV, and Highlifter. As for shocks I have talked to Ed the suspension guy and shock therapy.
I need advice. Too many options. As for a arms, stock style ball joints, uniballs or heim joints...

2016 XPT 1000 Fan Override DIY
Im looking for a wiring diagram so I can add my own Fan-Override-Switch.
I have a 2016 XPT with the recall Fan Upgrade.
I am able to activate the fan relay with the key-on by adding power to the (2) leads in Orange & Brown coming from I assume from the T-Stat ?
I already have installed an Aux Fuse/Relay Box and I don't want to just add another stand alone Harness to the already crowded system.
Q: Has anyone done it this way, if so can you share your method.

SDR DOORS ISSUE
I installed my doors today, what I am doing wrong?
Drivers door fits great, driver side passenger is not coming in enough at the bottom. Driver side rear door is not coming in enough, passenger rear door fits great. I have to be missing something?

Over voltage regulator
I had an ovr code on my 2017 xpt goi up to 18 volts. I took a voltage regulator off a buddies xpt and had it happen again. Now when I plug in both voltage regulators into his rzr they both show high voltage in his now too. Im not sure where to start or what is causi my rzr to smoke voltage regulators. Hoping I can get some ideas.

new 2018 xpt 4 complaints
Overall I like the bike.
First,I feel like they really fell short in the suspension though.
Polaris really messed up or didn't even try to get the spring rates right on the shocks. The tender springs are totally collapsed from the factory with no weight on them(makes for a very rough ride). New springs are on order...Not what you want to do after spending 22,000.
Second, why did they make low gear so high? You already have a high gear!! Low gear is so high now that The first small rock climb I tried i smoked a belt. My 2016 xpt had a nice low gear for steeper climbs and some smaller rock climbs.
Rant over!!

Aftermarket aluminum charge tube
I ended up buying a new aluminum charge tube to replace the cheap stock one on my 2017 xp4T. I installed, and went for a ride it immediately threw a misfire code and started backfiring like crazy it would not run over 6000rpm without backfiring and throwing a code. I changed the bov to a bmp Billet thinking that may be the problem, it didnt help. I called mike at aftermarket assassins because I have his clutch and stage 2,3 tune thinking that may be the problem, he suggested I check the plug wires where they go over the tube, and see if the are shorting out. I added a piece of rubber under them and this cured the issue, after hours of trouble shooting, and frustration it was such a simple fix. ![]()

Warn Provantage 4500S install
I installed a Warn Provantage 4500S on my 2017 Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo. I am pretty happy with the little winch so far, install was a PITA due to the extremely tight tolerances I was working with in order to squeeze it under the radiator and intercooler, but I got it done. You must be careful not to turn the engagement lever too hard on the side or you risk slipping the interior bracket past the pins. Ask me how I know?! I had to call Warn tech support in order to figure out how to disassemble the winch in place, let's just say that using snap ring pliers in that tight area wasn't the most fun task ever.
Day one she helped me to pull some fence posts upright after Harvey knocked them down. Line speed is good and it pretty quiet as well. I am extremely glad that I went with the synthetic rope over the older cable, so much easier to work with.
Installed, waiting on wide KFI fairlead bracket. The factory location is so small it's practically a hidden winch type setup.

Install complete with OEM Warn hook for now, waiting on the Factor55 Prolink XTV to get here.

Remote plug installed on the lower drivers side dash.

Looking for a decent priced slip on for my 2017 turbo. Something that don't sound like a tin can and preferably won't have to pack over time... was looking at the bmp and mbrp. And what size paddles to run... 28 or 30. Thanks

Rear wheel position
Are the rear wheels supposed to be straight up and down or does the bottom of the wheel kick out a little? I just noticed today the wheels aren't straight and I'm just concerned don't want to ride it way out where cars can't go and break down thanks for any info much appreciated.

Clock issue. Can anyone explain this?
No matter how many times I set the clock once I turn the key off and back on it automatically starts over again at 12:40.
Have mercy on me if if this is a gross misunderstanding on my part but this is a a new issue. Owned the bike since Feb 2017 and never had this until recently. No new additions or parts changes since March.

So I KNOW this has been talked about thousands of times but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.
I'm in the market to trade my '13 xp900 in on a '17 or '18 xp1000 4. My question is how is the reliability on the turbo vs the non turbo? I just can decide if I want a turbo or not and the reliability is my main concern. As far as the power aspect goes I don't think I need the turbo but it's more of a "want" thing. Lol. Most of the riding I do is in Utah in the mountains and I tend to go slower than most. I like to see the scenery vs going 80. But with that said I do go to the dunes in the spring and fall so I would need the power. I also do a lot of riding in Moab so I'm not sure how the turbo is in crawling.
I'd like anyone's pro's and cons of each.

NEW TIRES
After attending an event this weekend and seeing a few cars parked next to mine with wheels and tires, it became rather apparent its time for an upgrade.
Question: The stocks are 9" wide in the front, and 11" in rear. I like the difference in width, but it appears with aftermarket we go with the same size all around? The ones I like (EFX MotoHammers) are 10" wide. Obviously there will be no issue in the rear, but how about that extra inch up front?
Should I be thinking spacers on all 4 corners?
I have no immediate plans to do anything with the stock suspension.
I am going with 31's if that makes a difference at all.

2018 XP Turbo first ride
Just took my new 2018 trail riding on the Dusty Trails in Oconto County. Perfect day!! First impressions: Fxxxxxcking Awesome!!!! This machine makes my 2011 RSRs seem like a model-T. Smooth stable ride with superb handling. Power is right there from idle and delivered smoothly. What a great sounding engine..... and when you get on it.... Wow!!!! For those of you wondering if this machine will work on wooded winding trails, all I have to say is: Oh ya!!!!! Sorry this should be in the two seat section!

Anyone have first hand experience with the 30" pro armor paddles on a xp4t? The price is very tempting. But they look very aggressive.

BMP stage 3 tune
Have their stage 2 tune. Love it. Had them install the 3. Want to try it in glamis next week. I hear it really sucks a lot of gas. My 2 is great. We were told to add some octane booster as our 91 has 10% ethanol in it. You guys recommend torco or I was told to get some vp race fuel and add 1 gallon to 4 of my 91 gas. What have all you guys done

Wired up some accent lights
Just got done wiring up some accent lights. They come on with the whip switch. Pretty easy and used the front auxiliary power posts...
